Characters name: Matthis Macleod
Jobs and levels: Lvl 1 gladiator (intent to go straight to paladin)
Main class: Gladiator/paladin
Current server: Tonberry
Age:25
Location(city and country): Atlanta Georgia
Average time player per week(in hours): *shrug* consistently, I can tell you that.
Character lodestone link (if your lodestone does not show main class, please explain in detail your gear status): I just started on the server tonight 11/5/2013 so I'm super green, but I intend to go to level cap pretty quickly, and I need a guild to prove my stuff to.
What raid group would you prefer to be apart of(hard, casual or social): Hard/social. I like to progress to end-game content, but I don't have to be a trailblazer. I am more than happy to sit out or lead some of the easier groups. That said, I'm just as comfortable on the cutting edge.
Are you aware that if your class is at low demand within the FC you may have to wait for a raiding group?
What?! This is an outrage! You can't just tell me what classes are in demand. That's a personal choice between me and the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Who do you think you are?
Sure, I'm cool with getting the rotations where they need to be. I have no problems with whatever choices the guild makes deciding my participation.
Previous raiding experience in FFXIV: Currently none, though I did play FF XI.
Previous raiding experience in other MMO's: Main/OT for my previous guilds in WoW during BC and WotLK, ToR, played casually through FFXI, though I did participate in some raids here and there.
On a personal note, I want to say that I live in the states, but I suffer from terrible insomnia and nocturnal habits so while everyone else is asleep around me, I'm not. It's kind of like "Fight Club", but with much less mania and more caffeine consumption. Or maybe equal parts dissociative identity mania. I can't really be sure. I'm applying to an Australian/Oceanic guild because honestly I feel like that's the best time frame and mentality that I fit into. I'm reliable, easy going, and a bit of a wise guy. On a plus, since I live in the deep south of the United States, I too have an accent, so I figure anyone in Aus/New Zealand is kind of like my long lost neighbor that suffers from the same speech impediments I do. Plus, if I need to brush up on the culture and references I have like every Paul Hogan movie ever made and a few Crocodile Hunter videos in my closet I could use to brush up on. Also, I'm terrified of the Bunyip, so maybe we have more in common than we think.
I hope you consider me for the guild and look forward to hearing a response from you in game or through e-mail.
Kindest regards,
Matt.
